NHL 96 — About this game
NHL 96 turns a passing lane into a chance to beat the goalie. Skate into space, switch to the player near the puck and choose a quick wrist shot or a stronger held slap shot. A single game introduces the pace, while season and playoff options ask you to keep a team winning; the shootout isolates the duel between a skater and the netminder.
Press START, choose Play Game and begin a single game. Practise B passes toward open ice, tap A for an accurate nearby wrist shot and hold A only when there is time to build a harder slap shot.
