How to Play Olympic Summer Games
Quick start
Set Easy and one player in OPTIONS, then choose PRACTICE and 100 Meter Sprint. Alternate rapid A/B presses to run and tap Up at the finish to lunge. Move on to hurdles and time Up over each barrier before building a custom competition from the events you enjoy.
Controls
Menus: Up/Down selects, START confirms; A/B changes options. Sprint/hurdles: A/B repeatedly runs, Up lunges at the finish or jumps hurdles. Long jump: A/B runs, Up takes off. Skeet: A/B releases a target, D-pad aims, A/B fires. Archery: hold A/B plus Right for power, release to set it, D-pad aims, A/B shoots; START readies another arrow.

Represent one of 32 nations in ten summer events, from sprinting and hurdles to jumps, throws, skeet and archery. Rapid A/B presses build speed or power, but a well-timed take-off or release decides the result. Practice each discipline, assemble a custom competition and compare records. Options allow up to four players, giving the different events a shared medal-race setting. Set Easy and one player in OPTIONS, then choose PRACTICE and 100 Meter Sprint. Alternate rapid A/B presses to run and tap Up at the finish to lunge. Move on to hurdles and time Up over each barrier before building a custom competition from the events you enjoy.
