How to Play Othello World
Quick start
Set the black and white players, choose a thinking-time limit and start the match. Move the cursor with the D-Pad and press A on a legal square. Look for a move that brackets a line, then check which reply would let your opponent approach a corner.

D-Pad: move the cursor. A: confirm or place a legal disc. B: cancel a choice. SELECT: pause and open configuration.
Othello World — About this game
Place a disc so an opposing line is caught between your new disc and one already on the board, flipping the trapped line to your color. Horizontal, vertical and diagonal captures all matter on the eight-by-eight board. Choose the black and white players and a time limit before the match; selecting human players lets two people share the board. A large early count is less useful than a secure corner and enough legal moves. When neither side can move, compare the final disc totals to decide the winner.
