How to Play Palamedes
Quick start
Move left or right beneath a matching die. Press B to change the held face and A to throw upward. Watch the stock below, then press Down when a useful group or run is ready; clear space before the descending rows close in.

Left/Right: move beneath the dice. B: cycle the held face, wrapping after six. A: throw upward. Down: use a completed stock combination.

Shoot a die upward to remove a matching face from the descending rows, then use the dice collected below to clear more of the field with a planned combination. Change the held face before firing instead of waiting for the right number to arrive. Matching sets and runs give the stock a second purpose beyond a simple shot. Watch the nearest row while building a useful sequence, because an elaborate combination is no help if the descending dice reach you first. Spend a modest stock when it buys room for the next attack.
