How to Play Parodius
Quick start
Choose a craft and use the pad to steer. Fire with B and select the highlighted power-up with A. Collect capsules deliberately rather than crossing a bullet stream for one; learn the first boss's safe gaps before chasing a longer upgrade sequence.

Parodius — About this game
Parodius turns a scrolling space battle into a procession of unlikely enemies and playful scenery. Choose a craft with its own weapons, weave through incoming fire and collect power capsules to build the setup shown along the bottom of the screen. Advancing the selection is a decision of its own: taking a useful upgrade now can be safer than waiting for a stronger one. Comic appearances do not remove the danger, and learning a boss's firing gaps matters more than following every reward into a crowded corner.
