How to Play Picross 2
Quick start
Press START, choose a save file and try the easy puzzles first. Move with the D-Pad, use A to carve and B to mark a square as empty. Compare one row with its crossing column before carving again. START opens the pause menu, including SAVE for an interrupted puzzle.
Controls
D-Pad: move the cursor. A: carve/restore a square or check a clue number. B: add/remove an empty mark. B+SELECT on a clue: toggle clue enlargement. SELECT: move to/from the overview window. START: pause menu. A/START confirms menus; B returns.
Picross 2 — About this game
Use the numbers beside a grid to uncover a picture, filling each run in order and leaving at least one empty square between separate runs. Normal pictures join four fifteen-by-fifteen fields into a larger image, so a finished field is only part of the discovery. Mario’s puzzles correct mistakes at a time penalty; Wario’s leave your decisions in place without that warning. Mark empty squares as carefully as filled ones. Quick Picross changes the task to eight-by-eight letter puzzles, where solving the letters reveals a sentence.
