How to Play Pocket Densha
Quick start
Choose a control type before departure. In C type, A/B operate power and the pad controls the brake: left releases, then down-left, down, down-right, right, up-right and up increase braking. Coast before approaching the station rather than waiting until the platform to slow down.

Pocket Densha simplifies train driving into a repeating rhythm of acceleration, coasting and braking accurately at the next station. Watch the speed restriction and timetable instead of keeping the power on for the whole journey. The Yamanote and Osaka loops give familiar routes, while the fictional Subaru express stretches the distance between stops. Several control layouts let you choose a comfortable handle arrangement; the distinctive C layout separates power buttons from a directional brake that grows stronger as the pad turns around.
