How to Play Pocket Golf
Quick start
Choose a match and practise a safe first shot. Stop the left distance bar, then the right accuracy bar without letting it fall too far. Try leaving a short putt, and keep the between-hole password when playing the match series.
Controls
D-pad selects club, direction and menu entries. A confirms and stops the current shot bar; watch left distance and right accuracy in sequence. B backs out of ordinary selections.

Pocket Golf places distance and accuracy on separate bars, making a good shot a balance of two decisions. Choose the line and club, stop the distance measure and then avoid carrying the accuracy decision too far. Aiming for a safe approach can leave a shorter putt than chasing the longest possible drive. Match play takes you through a series of opponents and allows a password between holes; the tournament instead asks for a full stroke-play round. Learn where each attempt actually lands and use that result to improve the next shot rather than trusting the planned line alone.
