How to Play Pocket Kanjirou
Quick start
From the kanji list choose a small range and the reading test. Enter the reading, submit with OK and revisit the data for missed characters. D-Pad: move the cursor and choose answer characters. A: confirm/OK. B: return or re-enter an answer. START: switch cursor position. SELECT is unused. Choose Test from the kanji list; use OK to submit, rather than merely leaving the entry screen.

Pocket Kanjirou — About this game
Pocket Kanjirou combines a primary-school kanji reference with tests that record correct answers. Choose a character range, study its reading and animated stroke order, then practise the selected test. Reading answers are entered by choosing characters on the screen, with mistakes corrected through the back command. Results help bring less-practised or weaker questions back into view. Link competition compares the two players' stored test records for each kanji, giving the study sessions a score-based goal without requiring simultaneous questions.
