This Space World 1997 version of Pocket Monsters Gin is an early demonstration of the monster-training adventure. Explore a town and nearby grass, meet unfamiliar early creature designs and choose commands in turn-based battles. Keep an eye on HP, attack effects and the experience gauge while trying the available Pokémon. The short demonstration route gives a different view of the journey from the later retail release. The debug edition also exposes development menus, but ordinary exploration and battles provide a clear starting point.
