How to Play Popeye 2
Quick start
Choose 1-PLAYER and press START. Try A jumps and B punches, then hold B with a direction and press A for a longer leap; save stored healing items for when strength has actually fallen.
Controls
←/→: move; ↑/↓: climb where possible; A: jump; B: punch; B+←/→: run while held with direction; B+←/→+A: running Super Jump (farther, not higher); ↑/↓+SELECT: use top/bottom stored item; START: pause.
Popeye 2 — About this game
Popeye 2 turns a voyage for treasure into a rescue after Bluto seizes the ship and kidnaps Popeye’s friends. Fight through timed stages, punch obstacles and use spinach or stored items to keep moving. A running Super Jump carries farther rather than higher, while linked competition makes Popeye and Bluto race through boards for bonuses and the stronger final score.
