How to Play Quartet
Quick start
Look at the position of the center fragment and compare the surrounding faces before pressing a direction. Choose a window with that section free, then watch the next piece. Favor matching faces when space allows, but avoid wasting the timer on a perfect match. Use START to pause.
Controls
D-pad: send the center piece to the window in the chosen direction. START: pause. Check the destination section before placing a piece; occupied positions and time-outs cost a life.
Quartet — About this game
This Game Boy adaptation of Photon Storm’s Quartet asks you to organize several unfinished faces at once. Each incoming fragment occupies a particular section, so the nearest empty-looking window is not always a safe choice: its corresponding position may already be filled. Use the D-pad to send the center piece toward an adjacent window, aiming for fast, well-matched faces while preserving room for later pieces. Running out of time or placing into an occupied position loses a life; clearing the whole board earns an extra one. START pauses the action so you can take a break between quick decisions.
