How to Play Max
Quick start
Press START and advance cautiously, firing B ahead before each jump. Shoot stars for upgrades and collect life ropes; test repeated jumps while shooting near suspicious gaps to discover hidden routes.
Controls
Left/Right move; A jumps; B fires, and held B while moving enables fast running. A+B uses a life rope if available; a fall also triggers a remaining rope automatically. With a wing, jump then press/hold A again to fly briefly. START starts/pauses.

Repeated jumps while firing can reveal hidden bridges and rocks, rewarding careful searching rather than a rush straight toward the boss.
