How to Play Sagaia
Quick start
At setup choose a difficulty, life stock, rapid-fire setting and A/B weapon assignment. Move with the D-Pad and learn which assigned button fires forward and which drops vertical bombs. Use the first item waves to build weapons while keeping clear of the terrain.
Controls
D-Pad: fly in all directions. A/B: forward shot and vertical bombs according to the chosen control scheme; rapid fire is configurable at setup.

Pilot the Silver Hawk through eight scrolling zones, using the forward shot and vertical bombs to answer enemies at different heights. Symbol-marked items improve weapons and the protective arm shield, making survival part of a longer power-up plan. The route is linear, so the next encounter asks you to learn a new space rather than choose an arcade-style branch. Large mechanical sea creatures close each zone with attacks worth watching before you move in. Choose rapid fire and a comfortable shot-button layout at the start, then preserve an escape lane while collecting upgrades.
