Sam Mallard - The Case of the Missing Swan — About this game
A late visitor gives private detective Sam Mallard an unusually generous reason to stay at work: find the missing Mrs. Swan before morning. This Game Boy reimagining of an earlier text adventure uses a point-and-click-inspired interface and fifteen locations to investigate. A examines what you have selected, while B performs an action, so observation and interaction are deliberately separate. SELECT opens the inventory and START saves your progress. The author designed the mystery so that Sam cannot die and the case cannot become impossible to finish, leaving room to explore and reconsider clues without having to guard against a fatal mistake.
