Inspect the first layout, identify exposed pairs and choose one that opens access to another layer. D-Pad: move the tile cursor. A: select the first tile and its matching partner. B: cancel the current selection. Check that each tile is uncovered and free on a side before pairing it.

Sarakon is a tile-pairing puzzle preserved as an unreleased Game Boy prototype. Work through layered arrangements by removing identical symbols, choosing tiles that are uncovered and accessible from a side. An available pair is not always the best first move: clearing one edge may expose the match needed to free a buried tile elsewhere. The Game Boy build contains 51 layouts, giving the search for a safe clearing order plenty of variations. Inspect the layers before committing to an easy-looking pair.
