How to Play Shootris
Quick start
Shoot the first blocks before they land, keep an escape gap beside the pile and use SELECT when grounded blocks obstruct the route. D-Pad: move. A: jump. B: shoot rockets. SELECT: dynamite for landed blocks. START: pause/show score. In the author's browser version: arrows move, Space jumps, X shoots, Z uses dynamite and Enter pauses.

Shootris — About this game
Shootris puts an armed platform-game character inside a falling-block challenge. Rockets destroy blocks still in the air, but once a block lands it can only be removed with dynamite. Move and jump to keep a route open while stopping the pile from reaching the top, and never stand under a piece about to crush you. Clearing the whole field awards extra points and advances the level. The seven layouts loop, so survival and improving the score continue after the first circuit.
