Quick start
Begin an expedition, identify a safe corridor and locate the key before taking optional treasure detours. D-Pad: walk through the cave. A: confirm/interact with a prompt. B: cancel/back in menus. In the author's browser version, arrows are D-Pad, Z is A, X is B, Enter is START and Shift is SELECT. Evade the snail and use keys to find the ascent.

The Snail sends a treasure hunter into a deep cave, then turns the escape into the real challenge. Search the randomly generated rooms for keys and a way upward while avoiding traps and the mysterious snail pursuing you. A valuable detour is only useful if it leaves a route back to safety. Scores, trophies and different endings encourage another attempt, but each new arrangement asks you to reassess the corridors. Watch where danger can enter before stepping into a narrow passage with treasure on your mind.
