How to Play Spot: The Video Game
Quick start
Press START for the default match against a level-one computer. Select one of your dark pieces with A and an adjacent empty square with A to clone; then compare that result with a jump that leaves the starting square empty.
Controls
D-pad: move cursor or held piece; A: select piece then destination; confirm menu choices; B: speed cursor movement; editor cycle boards; START: pause.

Spot: The Video Game makes every move a choice between expanding and jumping. Step into a neighbouring square to clone a piece or leap farther and leave the old square empty. Nearby enemy pieces change sides at the destination, so an attractive capture can also expose the space you just abandoned; winning means owning more of the filled board at the end.
