How to Play Sutte Hakkun
Quick start
Enter a puzzle, locate the rainbow fragment and inspect the blocks between it and Hakkun. Test the beak action and jump, then change one block at a time while keeping a path back.
Controls
D-pad: move and select. A: use the beak to take in or release blocks/color. B: jump. Confirm the puzzle from the menu, then use placement and jumping together to reach its fragment.
Sutte Hakkun — About this game
Guide Hakkun through an action puzzle built around carrying blocks and moving their color. Use his beak to take in or release what the puzzle needs, changing platforms so that the route to a rainbow fragment becomes reachable. Before moving a block, consider where Hakkun must stand afterward and whether he can still return. This early Game Boy prototype explores the series’ compact combination of jumping, placement and route planning. Enter a puzzle, locate the rainbow fragment and inspect the blocks between it and Hakkun. Test the beak action and jump, then change one block at a time while keeping a path back.
