Quick start
Choose a hero and learn the first platforms. Watch HP and MP before using an item, keep the iron ball for a useful opening and approach the next enemy without spending every resource at once.
Controls
D-pad moves the hero. A jumps and B attacks; use the item selection shown by the game to choose an MP-consuming tool. Watch HP and MP separately, and return to ordinary attacks when conserving energy.

The Great Battle heroes take iron balls into a side-scrolling action adventure. Keep an eye on both HP and MP: surviving a hit and spending energy on an item are different decisions. An iron-ball attack can make a dangerous stretch easier, but using every resource immediately leaves fewer choices for what follows. Read the route between platforms, deal with enemies at a useful distance and save enough strength to reach the next confrontation. Learning the journey to a boss can matter as much as mastering the fight itself.
