How to Play Tetris Plus
Quick start
Press START, choose Puzzle, NEW GAME and a low difficulty, then select a location with A. Watch the professor’s walking direction and remove blocks beneath a wide enough gap to let him drop toward GOAL.
Controls
D-pad moves falling pieces/cursors; A rotates clockwise and confirms, B rotates counterclockwise. START starts/pauses. Edit mode: A places blocks, B erases, SELECT changes block type or the professor’s facing, START returns to tool icons. Rotation buttons can be configured in options.

Tetris Plus adds a wandering professor to falling-block puzzle play. Classic mode focuses on clearing lines, while Puzzle mode asks you to guide the professor down to a goal before a descending cutter reaches him. He moves on his own and climbs blocks, so each placement must shape a safe route rather than merely maximize a line score. Press START, choose Puzzle, NEW GAME and a low difficulty, then select a location with A. Watch the professor’s walking direction and remove blocks beneath a wide enough gap to let him drop toward GOAL.
