Quick start
Press START or A and choose problem collection for practice. Read the king's escape squares, select a piece and place a checking move with A. Use B to cancel a held piece and SELECT to open the problem window.
Controls
D-pad moves the cursor or piece. A confirms, places a piece or advances; B cancels a held piece or returns. START begins and SELECT opens the window during a problem. Keep every attacking move a check.

The problem-collection mode lets you tackle positions as exercises, while the trial mode asks you to carry that reading into a test.
