How to Play Super Robot Wars
Quick start
Choose one-player mode, a new game and a robot team, then select deployment members. Use the D-Pad and A for units, destinations, weapons and targets; B backs out. Check weapon range before moving and use the end-turn command after arranging a safe formation.
Controls
Directional pad: move the cursor; A: select a unit, open its commands and confirm an action; B: cancel or return; START: confirm the selected deployment members.
Super Robot Wars — About this game
Choose a Gundam, Mazinger or Getter team and command robots on a grid to oppose the force that has turned former allies against them. Terrain and unit type change movement costs, and friendly units can block a narrow route just as enemies can. Check weapon range before moving: attacks after movement must be made from an adjacent square. An adjacent foe can also be persuaded to join, but the attempt spends the unit’s action even when it fails. Keep the leader protected and leave room in the roster before trying to recruit another machine.
