How to Play Universal Soldier
Quick start
Choose Start and practise the standard A-jump/B-fire layout before moving farther into the first area. Tap B to shoot or hold it while stationary for the laser whip; aim the whip with Left/Right. Save special attacks for crowded spaces and write down the passcode after a level.
Controls
Standard layout: ←/→ move, ↑ or A jump, ↓ kneel; ↓+A transform, ↑+A return. B tap fires/hold while still uses laser whip; B in shirakin lays mine. SELECT power line; SELECT+B super weapon. START pause. A/B functions can be customized.

As Luc Deverux, fight Andrew Scott’s rampaging UNISOL forces across ten levels in Vietnam, a dam, the desert and enemy headquarters. Explore platforms with a gun, a sweeping laser whip and limited special attacks, breaking objects and searching for useful pickups. Luc can transform into a spinning shirakin that lays mines, then return to human form for jumps and shooting. A passcode lets you resume after a completed level. Choose Start and practise the standard A-jump/B-fire layout before moving farther into the first area. Tap B to shoot or hold it while stationary for the laser whip; aim the whip with Left/Right. Save special attacks for crowded spaces and write down the passcode after a level.
