How to Play Wave Race
Quick start
Choose PRACTICE and the 550cc class to learn a course. Hold B for normal acceleration and use A only when the turbo meter has charge. Learn the corner pylons before a Circuit race; in Slalom, head for the next unclaimed gate rather than following a rival through one that has already scored.

←/→: move; ↑/↓: shift rider weight forward/backward for jumps; A: turbo jet if meter has charge; B: hold throttle; releasing stops boat; START: pause; SELECT: select course.
Wave Race — About this game
Wave Race turns a personal watercraft into a contest of racing lines and timed bursts. Circuit rewards finishing position, while Slalom awards each gate to the first boat through it. Choose between engine classes, build turbo by leaving it unused and shift the rider’s weight over jumps. A faster craft can win a straightaway but demands more care around pylons and the next crowded corner.
