How to Play WWF Superstars
Quick start
Use A or B to choose a wrestler and START to confirm. Practise walking punches with A and close grabs with B before double-tapping a horizontal direction to run. Once the opponent is down, B attempts the pin. Keep SELECT’s special throw for a useful moment and alternate A/B rapidly to escape a hold.

D-pad: move; ←/→×2: double-tap to run; direction again to walk; A: walking punch/power combo; running dropkick; grounded foe elbow/knee; B: close grab/slam/headlock; running clothesline; downed foe pin; SELECT: special power throw once per match; A/B: press alternately rapidly to escape hold/pin; START: pause.

WWF Superstars turns five wrestlers’ rivalries into one-on-one bouts. Walk close for punches and grabs or break into a rope-to-rope run for a dropkick or clothesline. Wear down an opponent before attempting the pin, use the wrestler’s own power move and decide when to spend the once-per-match special throw. A bout can spill outside the ring, where returning before the count is as important as landing another hit.
