Two accompanying options can open or close to change the attack formation, letting you choose concentrated fire or wider coverage as the enemy pattern changes. Collect shot upgrades and shields while keeping a path through incoming fire. Choose an initial stage and an easier difficulty to learn the formation switch, then work toward the final stage without spending every continue on the first unfamiliar hazard.
