How to Play The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons
Quick start
Create a new, unlinked file and speak to Din at the troupe’s camp. After Onox attacks, head through Horon Village to the beach and enter Hero’s Cave. Solve its block puzzles to obtain the Wooden Sword, assign it to A or B, then seek the Maku Tree. The Rod of Seasons is acquired later, after the first dungeon.
Controls
D-pad: move and select items. A/B: use the items assigned to those buttons. Equip the sword or shield in the inventory before using it; hold the sword button, then release for a spin attack. START: open the item screen. SELECT: view the map. Equip the Rod of Seasons, stand on a tree stump and use its assigned button to change to a season whose power you have obtained.
The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons — About this game
Onox has kidnapped Din, plunging Holodrum’s seasons into chaos. In this Game Boy Color adventure, Link explores forests, mountains and dungeons while gathering the eight Essences of Nature. The Rod of Seasons changes the landscape, turning the same stretch of countryside into different routes and puzzles.
Seasonal powers are gained gradually: snow, vegetation and water conditions create different opportunities as you revisit each area. Explore Subrosia as well as the surface, and use newly acquired dungeon tools to uncover further passages. A password-linked adventure with Oracle of Ages adds connections between the games; the opening below assumes an unlinked save.
This edition presents the game in Traditional Chinese.
