How to Play Cannon Fodder
Quick start
Start a new campaign in an unused save slot and read the first mission briefing. Move the crosshair with the D-pad, use A to guide the squad and B to fire toward the target. Practise these commands separately before advancing into danger. SELECT shows weapon and ammunition status above the leader; use A+B for an available explosive when the mission calls for one.
Controls
The D-pad positions the crosshair. A moves the troops toward it; B fires toward it. Press A+B together to use an explosive when ammunition is available. SELECT displays the weapon type and ammunition above the squad leader. Check that display before committing to a grenade or rocket attack.
Cannon Fodder — About this game
The cursor is separate from the soldiers: directing it toward an enemy does not mean your squad must walk there. Use movement and firing commands deliberately, then check ammunition before spending grenades or rockets. Briefings explain each assignment, while three save slots preserve separate campaigns. A memorial records fallen troops and a heroes table tracks successful soldiers, giving the little figures a history beyond the next firefight.
This is a revised Simplified Chinese edition. This edition includes a fix for the Chinese title logo.
