How to Play Metal Walker
Quick start
Choose NEW GAME and enter your name. Talk to Meta Ball in the corner, then enter the room on the right and obtain a communication device. Speak to Professor Hawk and the instructor upstairs. Before leaving, receive the Analyzer from Emil. Practise aiming and setting shot power, then push an enemy into an Analyzer capsule to collect scan data.
Controls
Exploration: D-pad moves, A talks or checks, START opens the main menu once available. Menus: A confirms, B cancels, START changes capsule order. Battles: D-pad sets direction; press A once to start the power bar and again to fix the power. B displays status and START throws in a capsule. SELECT is unused. The exploration menu is used on the outdoor map.
Metal Walker — About this game
A direct hit is only one option: knock an enemy into another to hurt both, or bounce toward a capsule for its effect. Scanning Metal Busters supplies data for obtaining more capsules from shops. Land, marine and sky Core Units change your robot's form and let it break obstacles, cross water or jump gaps. Progress therefore depends on both better battle angles and the right machine for the route ahead.
