How to Play Geimos
Quick start
In the title, select the number of people with SELECT, switch mode A/B with B, and start with START. For the first time, we recommend mode A, which makes it easier to see the location of your aircraft. While avoiding enemy bullets with the cross button, use B for enemies in the air and A for tanks and towers on the ground. When both appear at the same time, press A and B together to perform two types of attacks in parallel. Prioritize evasion over wiping out enemies, leaving room for you to return to the center of the screen. Once the mothership appears, you won't need to use ground attacks, so move around and fire multiple aerial attacks at the glowing weak point in the center.
Controls
Cross button: Move Gaymos. A button: Fires a ground attack quasar. B button: Fires an air attack pulsar. A+B: Simultaneous attack in the air and on the ground. START: Decision, game start/pause. In the title menu, press SELECT to select 1 or 2 people, and press B to switch between modes A and B.
Geimos — About this game
``Geymos'' is a shooting game for the Famicom that depicts space battles in pseudo-3D representation that move deeper into the screen. Piloting the Solar System Defense Force's state-of-the-art Geimos, you will travel from Earth to Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Neptune, and Pluto, destroying the invading Mastodon's aerial weapons and ground facilities. Since A's quasar is a ground target and B's pulsar is an air target, it is necessary to distinguish between enemy altitudes and shoot them. Mode A is a perspective in which your aircraft moves within the screen, and mode B is a perspective where your aircraft is fixed in the center and the background moves. Concentrate your attacks on the center of the mothership on each side while avoiding contact with enemy bullets, destroy them before they can escape, and repeat the laps.
