How to Play Gekido Advance: Kintaro's Revenge
Quick start
Start a new story and enter Chapter 1, The Deathtoll Rises. Move through each scrolling encounter by clearing the hooligans, ghouls, zombies, monks and bats that block the route. Use short punch-and-kick strings against ordinary enemies and save the A+B technique for a crowded screen or a full meter, because it costs health when the meter is not ready. Against the two Stone Statues, wait for their attack preparation, interrupt the charging fist, and keep moving when the stomp makes rocks fall.
Controls
D-Pad moves; tap Left or Right twice to run. A punches and B kicks. R jumps; L is unused. A+B performs the special technique and may consume health if its meter is not full. The documented Flaming Combo is A, A, B, A, B, A, A. While running, A performs the swirling-kick dash attack and B performs the raging-punch dash attack. START pauses and handles the usual start/menu function.
