Gendai Daisenryaku DS presents selected fictional military scenarios as turn-based map operations. Lead the force, compare a unit's terrain access and weapon range and coordinate ground, air or naval assets to meet the briefing's objective. Moving every unit toward the nearest enemy can expose a valuable support unit or leave a forward group without supplies. Check the map and current resources before ending the turn, then revise the plan after the opponent acts. Begin with one scenario and a small set of orders so the cause of each combat result stays clear. Begin with the opening tutorial and practice the main interaction before pursuing optional rewards. Read the current objective, make one deliberate choice and watch its effect before repeating it. A short first session makes it easier to separate a missed instruction from a difficult challenge. Return to the available menu when you need to check progress or adjust your approach, then continue from the next clear objective.
