Play 688 Attack Sub (World edition · English) Online

Press Start, choose TORPEX ’89 and the blue 688 box, then select BEGIN GAME. In the Conn, enter the Radio Room and read your orders before visiting the Periscope, Navigation Board, Sub Control Panel, Sonar Room, and Weapons Control Panel. For the exercise, identify the surface ships, set a waypoint toward them, set throttle to two-thirds, load all four torpedo tubes, and deploy the towed array. Once a target is positively identified and within ten nautical miles, select it and launch torpedoes until it sinks.

Move the cursor with the D-pad and press A on a station, instrument, map symbol, or option to select it and issue the order. Hold B and press a direction to cycle through battle-station symbols, then release B to enter that station. Hold C with the D-pad to jump between instruments; in the Conn this combination cycles stations. Start advances from the title screen and pauses. In the Radio Room, Up or Down changes transmission speed and C stops it.
