How to Play Aero the Acro-Bat 2
Quick start
Enter the magician's box to begin an act, then search each large level for its exit box instead of simply moving right. Press B in midair with a direction to spin through enemies and reach ledges, and hold C to inspect the area for hidden passages and treasure. Collect stars for ranged attacks and gather the letters A-E-R-O if you want the end-of-stage cup bonus. Let large gears launch Aero with the D-pad neutral, and only correct the arc near the landing.
Controls
Use the D-pad to move, crouch, climb and choose the direction of a midair spin. A throws collected stars. B jumps; press B again while airborne to spin diagonally, including upward or downward. Hold C with a direction to look around; unlike the first game, C no longer provides a hover, though it can help control where Aero lands after certain moves. Start pauses. Bells are swung by pressing back and forth in rhythm, while large gears work best if you initially leave the D-pad centred.
