How to Play Aero the Acro-Bat
Quick start
Begin the first circus act by learning the jump-and-spin rhythm: press B to jump, then press B again with a diagonal direction to launch Aero through enemies and towards higher platforms. Search each act instead of racing to the exit, because switches, cannons, hoops and hidden routes are part of the performance. Save collected stars for enemies that are unsafe to spin into. Use C on the ground to look ahead before a blind leap, and use its short hover in the air to correct a landing.
Controls
The D-pad walks or runs Aero, ducks and climbs ladders. A throws a star when ammunition is available. B jumps; press it once more in midair with a diagonal direction for Aero's spin attack, which can also extend his reach. Hold C with a direction while grounded to look around; press C in midair to hover briefly, on a ladder to slide down, or on a tightrope to hang underneath, then press Up to return to the top. Start pauses the game.
