How to Play Air Hockey
Quick start
Begin by keeping your paddle between the puck and the centre of your goal. Use short movements to defend, wait for the puck to leave the side wall, then strike it off-centre to create a difficult angle. Avoid chasing it deep towards the opponent because that leaves your own goal exposed. This Sega Reactor edition presents the same straightforward top-down table-hockey idea as the documented built-in Mega Drive release, but surviving sources do not describe regional feature differences.
Controls
Use the D-pad to move the paddle within your half of the table. Touch the puck to block it or send it towards the opposing goal; the direction and contact point determine the shot angle. Start begins or pauses, and an action button confirms menu choices. No surviving Sega Reactor manual was found with separate A, B and C gameplay functions, so the guidance is limited to the directional paddle movement and contact-based rules supported by the game format.
