Play Alex Kidd in the Enchanted Castle (Japan edition) Online

Select START for a new game and clear each of the eleven rounds by reaching the rice cake at the end. Punch enemies and blocks for Baums, search treasure chests for equipment, and visit Janken Houses when the route demands a rock-paper-scissors match. Start opens the item screen: equip useful gear before a dangerous section, but remember that some items are lost when Alex dies. Use short jumps for precise landings, and learn each vehicle separately rather than steering it like ordinary Alex. This Sega Channel release is treated as the same game content as the US cartridge because no reliable source identifies gameplay changes.

The D-pad moves Alex left or right; Down crawls and Up enters a Janken House. A and C both jump, perform a jump kick when released in midair, and equip or unequip a highlighted item. B punches and pushes blocks. Start begins, pauses and opens the item selection screen. On the motorcycle, Left slows, Right accelerates and A/C jumps. In the pedicopter, tap A/C to stay airborne and B fires missiles. In water, steer in four directions and use Up+A/C near the surface to leap out.
