How to Play Arcade Classics
Quick start
Press Start, choose Centipede, Missile Command, or Pong, then select either the original Classic presentation or the updated Genesis version and set an easy difficulty for the first attempt. In Centipede, stay near the lower edge, fire continuously, and clear a lane through mushrooms before the segmented enemy reaches your movement area. In Missile Command, place the crosshair ahead of several incoming trails so one explosion catches multiple missiles; preserving cities matters more than chasing every target. In Pong, follow the ball with small vertical movements and return it from the centre of the paddle rather than overcorrecting.
Controls
D-pad: navigate menus and control the selected game. Centipede — move around the lower play area; B or C fires. Missile Command — move the crosshair; B or C launches a defensive missile toward it. Pong/UltraPong — Up and Down move the paddle. A and B are also used for fire or confirmation in some selected modes. Start: confirm the setup, begin, or pause. Each game offers its own one- or two-player and difficulty options.
