How to Play Arch Rivals: The Arcade Game
Quick start
Choose a player whose strength matches your plan, then treat each possession as a fast two-on-two break. On offence, use B to pass before defenders crowd the ball carrier and A to shoot; moving close to the hoop creates easier shots, while pressing the same action can order the computer teammate to pass or shoot. On defence, stay between the ball and basket, use A to jump for a block, B to punch or steal, and C only when a lunge has a clear line because a miss leaves you on the floor. Loose balls and rebounds are often more valuable than chasing a knocked-down opponent.
Controls
D-pad: move the controlled player around the court. Offence — A: shoot or order your teammate to shoot; B: pass or call for a teammate pass; C: no action. Defence — A: jump to block; B: steal or punch; C: dive/lunge. Start: pause and restart. In setup screens, use the D-pad to choose options; B cycles teams and C is used for the sound test.
