How to Play Bad Omen
Quick start
Choose 1 PLAYER and learn to move both paddles as one unit. Keep the blue defensive paddle under the sphere while steering the red offensive paddle into blocks and enemies. Use A and C to rotate through the basic, left-facing, and right-facing formations: vertical formations are essential for advancing through side passages, but return to the basic formation when the ball can fall behind you. B changes paddle speed from Mach 1 to Mach 3; slow down for precise rebounds and accelerate only when the route is open. Break the treasure chest for temporary items, watch the timer, and guide the sphere into the goal after each stage event without exhausting the sphere stock.
Controls
D-pad: move the offensive and defensive paddles together in eight directions; the blue paddle remains near the bottom while the red paddle can roam. A: cycle paddle formation in one order. C: cycle the same three formations in the reverse order. B: change paddle speed from Mach 1 through Mach 3. Start: open selections, confirm a mode, or pause. Options can remap A/B/C. In two-player mode, one player controls the offensive paddle and formation while the other controls defence and speed.
