Choose Exhibition for a quick game or Tournament for an eight-round trip through eight cities. In a one-player Exhibition, select your captain and teammate, then use short passes instead of dribbling into two defenders. Hold A and release at the top of the jump for a normal shot; near the rim, run in and press A for a basic jam. Build the Juice bar with good plays such as threes, steals, intercepted passes, and blocked dunks. Once it reaches at least half, your abilities improve, so protect possession rather than treating the bar like a turbo button.

Move with the D-pad and pause with Start. On offense, hold A and release at the jump’s peak to shoot; press B to pass or request a pass; press C without the ball to switch to the computer-controlled teammate. Press A again while airborne for a double clutch. For a special jam, press A, then C plus a direction; for an alley-oop to a computer teammate near the basket, press C to make him jump and B to pass. On defense, A jumps, B steals on the ground or blocks while airborne, and C attempts a flagrant foul. Jump with A and press B in the air to swat a dunk.
