Play BattleTech: A Game of Armored Combat (US edition) Online

Choose one weapon from each of the A, B and C columns before deploying; the loadout cannot change until the mission ends. Once in the field, press Start and use the radar: your Mad Cat is blue, the next objective is circled red, destroyed objectives are blue and intact enemy buildings are bracketed green. Use the D-pad to steer and face the target before firing. A handles heavy ordnance, B the main gun and C tactical weapons. Watch both damage and heat; either meter reaching its limit destroys the 'Mech. Coolant stores repair damage and remove heat, so plan a route through them instead of fighting every unit.

The D-pad steers the Mad Cat and aims all weapons in the direction it faces. A fires the selected heavy ordnance, B fires the selected main gun, and C fires the selected tactical weapon; some A weapons charge while held, and continuous-fire weapons work by holding their button. Start pauses and opens the radar computer. While paused, B opens the 'Mech status monitor, C opens the mission monitor and A returns to radar. Holding B while moving can engage the Hit-N-Run turret system, letting the turret aim while the legs continue straight; target lock can also enable automatic fire control against enemy 'Mechs.
