How to Play Blaster Master 2
Quick start
Set the credit count to six in Options while learning. Each stage alternates between side-view vehicle action, overhead vehicle areas, and on-foot exploration. Search for the mini-boss first: defeating it grants a new option or weapon that helps you reach and defeat the stage boss, whose reward opens the exit. In side view, use normal fire constantly and save special weapons for dense threats; hold the jump button to hover when terrain blocks the vehicle. Leave the vehicle only where a doorway or route clearly requires Jason on foot.
Controls
D-pad: move Jason, the vehicle, or its turret. Side view—A: special weapon; B: jump or hover; C: normal fire. Overhead view—A: rotate the turret left; B: rotate it right; C: fire. Start: pause and view inventory. Press Down+A to leave the vehicle. Press Up+A at a doorway to enter or exit. The available action changes with the current side-view, overhead, or on-foot scene.
