How to Play Star Odyssey
Quick start
Choose New Game, then speak to both parents in your Grautown home to receive a ticket and the Wood Killer. Visit the village leader’s house and talk to the old woman for a knife, then take the cave beneath the dining hall towards Rivertown. Press C while exploring to open the command window, and talk to or examine anything that may advance the story. Battles use command selections for attacks, magic, and items. Save at a hotel whenever you reach town; the game supports three save records.
Controls
D-pad: move around the field and towns or select menu commands. A: talk, examine, and confirm. B: cancel. C: open the command window while exploring and confirm a highlighted command. Start: begin from the title screen; it is not used during normal play. Save progress at hotels in towns, with up to three records available.
