How to Play Boxing Legends of the Ring
Quick start
Choose a boxer and begin with the easier opposition while you learn to protect the stamina bar. A and C throw left- and right-hand punches, and combining them with a direction changes the blow. Do not keep swinging when the bar is low: step out, duck or hold a defensive position until it recovers, then counter after the opponent misses. Watch the three judges as well as the knockdown count, because a bout can still be decided on points if neither fighter scores a knockout.
Controls
The D-pad moves the boxer around the ring and changes his defensive posture: Down blocks the body, while Down-Left and Down-Right move the head away from incoming punches. A and C deliver punches with the left and right hands; a direction plus a punch button selects different jabs, hooks and body shots. B is used for the straight jab in the standard layout, and Start pauses. Punches drain stamina, whereas blocking, ducking, bobbing, weaving or backing away lets it refill.
