While batting, the D-pad selects the intended stroke direction, A plays a normal ground stroke and B plays an aggressive Six-Hit. A also starts a run and can call the batsmen back before they cross. Bowling is a staged input: move and confirm the pitch marker with A, set swing or spin direction, confirm again, and tap A to increase run-up power.
