How to Play Brutal: Paws of Fury
Quick start
Begin the tournament with Kung Fu Bunny and use the early rounds to learn spacing before chasing special moves. Walk, crouch and jump with the D-pad, then combine directions with the three attack buttons for standing, low and airborne strikes. Guard instead of trading every blow, and check the move list after each victory: fighters acquire additional techniques as they advance. Commands in move lists assume the character is facing right, so reverse Left and Right when you change sides.
Controls
The D-pad moves the fighter, crouches and jumps. A, B and C supply the three basic attack strengths, while directional presses and button combinations change them into punches, kicks, sweeps and airborne attacks. Start switches between punch and kick sets during a bout and pauses from the appropriate game state. Each animal has a separate command list, and some special moves are not available until they have been earned during tournament progression. Reverse horizontal directions when facing left.
