How to Play Caliber.50
Quick start
Use the default Type A controls first so movement and aim rotation remain separate. Keep Captain Addis moving through open ground, tap the rotation buttons until the weapon points along the safest route, and fire before walking into a new screen. Hold the fire button to charge a hand grenade, then release it against clustered enemies or fixed guns. Collect power-ups to fill the gauge: the weapon advances from machine gun to rocket launcher and then flamethrower as the colour changes. Losing energy drops the gauge, so preserving the stronger weapon is often more valuable than rushing forward.
Controls
The D-pad moves Captain Addis. In the default Type A layout, A rotates aim left, B fires, and C rotates aim right. Hold the fire button and release it to throw a hand grenade; the grenade counter shows the effective stock, and empty-stock throws are much weaker. Start begins the mission and pauses play. The Options screen lets you change every A/B/C assignment or select Type B, where the D-pad moves and aims together, one button locks the current aim so you can strafe, and another fires or charges a grenade. Type B is the easier starting choice if independent rotation feels awkward.
